A Story Worth Hearing. A Conversation Worth Having.

I speak about starting over, finding confidence in unexpected places, and creating a meaningful life when the path you planned takes a turn you never expected. My talks are grounded in lived experience, honest conversation, and the belief that we are never finished becoming who we are.

Why Invite Me To Speak?

I don’t speak from a life that followed a carefully drawn map. I became a mother at seventeen, entered adulthood without a high school diploma, served as an Air Force F-16 mechanic, changed careers repeatedly, raised two daughters, earned my doctorate, taught for ten years, experienced profound loss, and eventually retired into yet another question: What comes next?

I bring those experiences to the stage with honesty, humor, and perspective. My goal isn’t to tell an audience how to live. It’s to share what I’ve learned, ask questions worth thinking about, and leave people looking at their own possibilities a little differently.

Speaking Topics

Starting Over When You Didn’t Plan To

Life doesn’t always ask permission before changing direction. This talk explores what happens when the identity, career, relationship, or future you expected changes suddenly, and how we can move forward without pretending we have all the answers.

There Is More Than One Way to Build a Life

There is no single timeline for becoming who you’re meant to be. Drawing from an unconventional path through motherhood, military service, education, career changes, and reinvention, this talk challenges the idea that falling behind means you’ve failed, and explores what becomes possible when we stop measuring our lives against someone else’s schedule.

Financial Independence Is About More Than Money

Financial independence isn’t only about what’s in your bank account. It’s about having choices, understanding your options, and trusting yourself to make decisions about your future. This talk explores the connection between money, confidence, and personal agency, especially during periods of change and reinvention.

Ways We Can Work Together

Keynote & Featured Talks

A thoughtful, story-driven talk designed around your audience and event. I combine personal experience, humor, and practical insight to create conversations that continue after the presentation ends.

Workshops & Interactive Sessions

Smaller, more interactive sessions that give participants room to reflect, ask questions, and apply the ideas to their own lives. These can be tailored to the needs, interests, and goals of your group.

Panels & Conversations

Thoughtful conversations for panels, moderated discussions, and smaller gatherings. I bring lived experience, curiosity, and an honest perspective to conversations about reinvention, financial independence, life transitions, and what comes next.
